Matsai, the founder of Our Home is Burning, is the VJ of the show. He created some pieces, like Oil Discovery:
He has worked as a VJ and music producer with the international multimedia band Coldcut (founders of Ninja Tune) since 2007.
Coldcut have performed worldwide since the early 90s, at the biggest festivals and at museums like the Centre Georges Pompidou (France), The MACBA Barcelona (Spain), or The BFI London, for thousands of people.
Matsai VJed with Coldcut at the Big Chill (7000 people audience), for which he also created the music with the band, in India at the Big Chill Goa, at UK’s largest festival: Glastonbury (in the InSpiral tent), at the BBC Electric Proms.
In the UK, Matsai VJed at some of London’s finest venues like The National Film Theater (for an event based on Darwin’s bicentenary ), The Britxon O2 Academy (5,000 persons x 2 nights supporting UK legend Ian Brown), Fabric Club etc.
Matsai toured with Coldcut from 2007 to 2010, using cameras on stage for VJing and special effects across Europe in France, Germany supporting Massive Attack, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria...
